Start with the correct identity. The VixAI account belongs to the user, and the Instagram profile must be connected inside that workspace. Then add the official VixAI MCP server to Grok. The flow opens VixAI authorization, uses the existing sign-in or registration process and displays requested scopes. An Instagram password, Meta token or internal database identifier never needs to be typed into the conversation.
On first use, ask Grok to list connected social accounts. The response must include only profiles owned by the authenticated user. If the intended destination is missing, correct the connection in VixAI before producing content. This small check reduces the risk of preparing a campaign for the wrong brand and verifies OAuth, token audience and cross-user isolation together.
For creation, describe the objective, audience, message, visual direction and call to action. Grok can use attached media, request a secure upload or invoke image generation exposed by VixAI. Every incoming file is validated, normalized and stored by VixAI; a temporary chat URL is not kept as a permanent dependency. The beta accepts one image, an ordered carousel of 2 to 10 images or one Reel.
A draft never publishes. It first records the account, caption, media and revision. Preparing the action then creates an immutable preview and short-lived intent. Check the Instagram profile, displayed file, complete caption and, for a schedule, date, timezone and clock time. Only after that inspection should immediate publishing or scheduling be requested. The consumed intent also protects against repeated calls.
After confirmation, VixAI sends media through Meta's authorized flow and waits for processing before completing publication. When a network request is delayed, idempotent retries must not create duplicate posts. A scheduled job remains in VixAI's durable queue and can run while Grok is closed. Cancellation is available only before the publication process has started.
Treat the assistant as a working interface, not as the owner of credentials. Social tokens stay in VixAI, MCP access is restricted by scope, and every read is filtered by the bearer-token user. Revoke a connection when it is no longer required, review permissions after team changes and never approve an action whose account, media or time differs from the request.
