VixAI now exposes a dedicated Facebook control instead of coupling Page setup to another social connection.
Connect the right Facebook Page to your VixAI workflow.
Use the explicit Facebook connection, authorize Page access and select the Page that should receive approved scheduled content.

Facebook publishing begins with a Page, not a personal profile
The person authorizing VixAI must be able to view and manage the intended Page through Meta.
After Meta authorization, VixAI lists Pages available to the signed-in person and records the selected destination.
The signed state and profile-specific endpoints keep the returned authorization attached to the intended VixAI brand profile.
Facebook Page connection checklist
Verify identity, Page access and destination selection before scheduling content.
| Check | Required state | VixAI action | Recovery |
|---|---|---|---|
| VixAI profile | The intended brand profile is active | The authorization URL carries signed profile context | Switch to the correct VixAI profile and restart the connection |
| Meta identity | The signed-in person has access to the intended Page | Meta returns Pages available through the granted permissions | Use the Meta account with Page access or correct the Page role |
| Permissions | Page listing, engagement reading and post management are approved | VixAI requests the scopes needed to list and publish to Pages | Review denied permissions and authorize again |
| Page destination | One Facebook Page is selected after authorization | VixAI stores the Page ID, name and Page access used by publishing | Open the Facebook control and choose the correct Page |
| Controlled test | A compatible image or video is sent to the selected Page | VixAI records the target and platform response | Check Page access, format and token status before retrying |
A personal Facebook profile is not the automated destination. Final Page access and publication acceptance remain controlled by Meta.
How to connect a Facebook Page in VixAI
Use the dedicated Facebook control in the active VixAI brand profile.
Make the selected Page operationally visible
Select the VixAI brand profile that owns the content calendar, then choose the Facebook control. VixAI creates a signed authorization request for that profile and redirects to Meta. Review the requested Page access and continue only with the identity that manages the intended destination.
After the callback, VixAI exchanges the authorization code without exposing the Meta token in the browser URL. The workspace then opens Page selection. Choose the Page by name and confirm that it belongs to the same brand represented by the active VixAI profile.
Run a small Page post before scheduling a campaign. A successful authorization can still return several Pages, and selecting the wrong destination is an operational error rather than an API error. Record the selected Page and test result.
If Page listing fails, confirm the Meta identity and Page access. If a post fails after a Page was selected, inspect whether the Page token expired, the role changed or the format is unsupported. Reauthorize only when access changed; correct content-specific errors separately.

Can I change the selected Facebook Page?
Yes. Open the connected Facebook control and choose another Page available to the authorized Meta identity.
What if my Page is not listed?
Confirm that the signed-in Meta account has the required Page access and that the relevant permissions were approved, then reconnect.
